About Us
At A Lot on Our Plate, professional development feels different. We believe learning should be hands-on, inspiring and enjoyable, which is why food is always at the centre of what we do. Our events bring Food Technology and Hospitality teachers together with industry experts, colleagues and great food, creating opportunities that spark new ideas for the classroom and build lasting connections.
Founded by Jo and Megan, two teachers who discovered that their shared love of food and teaching made the perfect recipe for collaboration. Over the years, they have worked side by side on everything from school events to large-scale catering and industry projects, always mixing learning with laughter.
A Lot on Our Plate is the next chapter; a place where professional development feels more like a night out with friends than attending a workshop.
